I had no plans to go into medicine at that time, but I knew I wanted to help people the way I had been helped by this beautiful and POWERFUL medicine.

In my final year, I spent 4 terms seeing hundreds of patients as a resident/intern, and also worked in an outreach program volunteering at a drug and alcohol detox center. It was the best 4 years of my life.
